To configure the connection to edge storage in INTELLECT™ software package do the following:

  1. Go to the setting panel of the Edge storage object.
  2. From the Type dropdown list select the interfacing protocol for the connected device (1).
  3. In the IP field specify the IP address of the device with edge storage ( 2).
  4. In the Port field specify the port for device connection (3).

  5. In corresponding fields of the Username group specify the login and password to connect to edge storage (4).

    Note.

     Login and password depend on device settings. See default login and password in manufacturer’s reference documentation on device.
  6. Click Connect (5). If the device is connected then one can set the list of cameras for playing back video from the edge storage archive and match the number of camera in INTELLECT™and edge storage from which the video is to be received (see Setting the list of cameras to access the edge storage section).
  7. To save all the changes click Apply (6).

Configuration of the connection to edge storage is completed.
