Documentation for Intellect 4.11.0-4.11.3. Documentation for other versions of Intellect is available too.
Transmission of duplex audio signals to IP-devices is configured by coupling speakers, registered in INTELLECT™ software, with microphones.
Note.
The feature of transmitting audio to an IP-device must be supported by the IP-device and be integrated into the IntellectTM software – see Drivers Pack documentation.
To configure transmission of duplex audio signals to IP-device, do the following:
- Create and configure the Camera object on the base of the Video Capture Device object.
- To work with a microphone of an IP-camera, create and configure the Audio card and Microphone objects (see Registration of audio cards and microphones in INTELLECT™ software section).
- To work with a speaker of a camera, create and configure the Playing card and Speaker objects (see Configuring audio playback section).
- To redirect a signal from a microphone to a speaker of a camera, create and configure the Live sound switch object (see Creating and configuring the Live sound switch object section).
As a result, one can direct audio to a speaker of a camera while working with the Live sound switch object (see Using the Live sound switch object section).
