Purpose of the document

The BAS-IP integration module configuration and operation manual is a reference and information guide, and intended for the BAS-IP module configuration specialists. This module is part of the Access Control System (ACS), implemented on the basis of ACFA PSIM.

The guide provides the following information:

  1. General information about the BAS-IP module.

  2. Configuring the BAS-IP module.
  3. Working with the BAS-IP module.

General information about the BAS-IP integration module

The BAS-IP module is a component of the Access Control System (ACS) implemented on the basis of ACFA PSIM, and used to perform the following functions:

  1. Configuring the BAS-IP system.
  2. Ensuring interaction between the BAS-IP system and ACFA PSIM (monitoring, control).

Note

Detailed information about the BAS-IP system can be found in the official reference documentation for this system (manufacturer is "BAS-IP").

Before configuring the BAS-IP module, do the following:

  1. Install the BAS-IP system hardware on the protected facility (see the BAS-IP system reference documentation).

  2. Connect the BAS-IP system to the Axxon PSIM Server (see the BAS-IP system reference documentation).
