Assigning templates to cameras

Using templates, you can apply the same parameters to different cameras. There are 4 default templates:

1. Face detector – a face detector is created for the camera, the video will be recorded to the archive if the detector triggers.
2. VMD detector – an embedded motion detector is created for the camera, the video will be recorded to the archive if the detector triggers.
3. Constant record – the video will be constantly recorded to the archive.
4. Moment Quest – an object tracker and a Motion in area detector are created for the camera, the video will be recorded to the archive if the detector triggers.

Apply the template to the camera as follows:

1. On the Cameras tab, click the  button in the upper left corner of the camera.
   
2. Click Assign.
3. Select the template and click Submit.
   

The template is applied to the camera.
