To create an activation request, do as follows:
- In demo mode, you can add Servers to your Axxon-domain, if you want to create a distributed system.
- On the main page of the activation utility, select Activate and click the Next button.
- Select the Create an activation request click the Next button.
- Select a license type (1, see Types of licenses).
Select servers and the required feature set (2).
Number of video channels (for all license types).
The number of NVR video channels (for all license types).
The number of sources for external events (specify the number of connections (the Event Source objects) for Start, Professional and Universe licenses).
Forensic Search in recorded video (Optional only for Professional license). This specifies the maximum allowed quantity:
The Tracking objects.
Automatic Number Plate Recognition tools (ANPR).
Face detection tools.
- Smoke and fire detection tools.
PTZ cameras to use with Tag&Track.
Attention!
Turning off a detector does not de-activate its license.
The number of video channels available for face recognition (see Configuring real-time face recognition, Professional and Universe licenses).
The number of video channels for online ANPR (see Configuring real-time vehicle license plate recognition, Professional and Universe licenses).
Analyze video from external systems (Offline Analytics, only for Universe license).
Note
When you create a request file, all Servers in the Axxon-domain must be online. If the Server on which you are creating the request file, cannot connect to any selected Server, the request file cannot be created.
Attention!
Starting from the version Axxon Next 4.5.6, there is no license type selection window, after creating an activation request, a request file is immediately created.
- Save the activation request file using any one of the following methods:
- Click the button in the standard Windows dialog box to browse for file location and enter the name.
- Click the button. The folder that contains the request file opens.
- Drag and drop the image to the destination folder.
You have created an activation request file. To return to the Home page of the activation utility, click Back, to exit it – click Finish.
