In Axxon One, it is possible to save the archive in case of replacing a video camera, NVR or any other video source.

To do this:

  1. Delete the old device, but keep in mind its ID.

  2. Create a new device in the system with the same ID (1) and bind it to the old archive (2, see Adding and removing IP devices).

    Attention!

    Device model, IP-address and any other device parameters may differ from the previous one.

    In the case of replacing the NVR, the video cameras should be connected to the same channels as before.

    After creating a new device with the old ID, the archive recorded earlier will be available in the system.
