To perform Search in archive for motion in area:

  1. In the Surveillance window, specify the area you want to analyze during the search in accordance with the selected condition.

    The anchor points of an area are connected by a two-colored dotted line.

    By default, an area is defined by four anchor points with the coordinates (30%, 30%), (70%, 30%), (70%, 70%) and (30%, 70%) as percentages of the width and height of the frame, respectively. 

    To edit an area, use the following actions.

    Right-click a line

    Creates a new anchor point of an area

    Right-click a created anchor point

    Deletes an anchor point of an area

    Hover the cursor over an anchor point and, holding down the left mouse button, move the mouse

    Moves an anchor point of an area

  2. Select the metadata source if there are several sources for this camera. This parameter isn't displayed if there is only one source.

  3. Specify any number of additional parameters by clicking , if necessary (see Configuring the search parameters).

  4. Set the search interval (see Setting a search interval).
  5. Click the Search button.

    Note

    Once started, the search can be stopped at any time. To do this, click the Stop button, which appears instead of the Search button.

The found moments are displayed in the search results panel.
