Vehicle search allows you to find recognized vehicles in the archive, and to filter vehicles according to specified criteria.

You can search for vehicles in the following way:

  1. Set the search interval (see Setting a search interval).
  2. From the Detection drop-down list (1), select the detection tool, the events from which you want to use as a search criterion.
  3. If necessary, set additional search criteria by clicking the button.
    1. From the Vehicle class drop-down list (2), select one of the following:
      1. Car.
      2. Truck.
      3. Bus.
      4. Motorcycle.
      5. Mini truck.
      6. Unknown.
    2. In the Vendor field (3), enter the full name of the car manufacturer in Latin letters, case-insensitive. Examples of correct spelling: Mitsubishi, Hyundai.
    3. In the Model field (4), enter the full name of the vehicle model in numbers or Latin letters, case-insensitive. Examples of correct spelling: Outlander, Creta, 406 (for Peugeot 406).

    4. In the Color area (5), set the color of the vehicle (see Configuring object color).
    5. From the Vehicle headlights drop-down list (6), select one of the following:
      1. Undefined.
      2. Enabled.
      3. Disabled.
    6. In the Vehicle speed area (7), in the From and To fields, set the vehicle speed range depending on the selected unit of measurement in the Speed detection field in the detection tool settings (see Configuring the License plate recognition RR):
      1. Kmph. Possible range: 0 to 450.
      2. Mph. Possible range: 0 to 280.
    7. From the Vehicle direction drop-down list (8), select one of the following:
      1. Undefined—the direction of movement of the vehicle is not detected.
      2. Incoming— the vehicle is moving towards the camera.
      3. Outgoing—the vehicle is moving away from the camera.

        Note

        To delete a search criterion, click the  button.

  4. Click the Search button.

Note

After you start the search process, you can stop it at any time. To do this, click the Stop button, which replaces the search start button.

The search process begins based on the specified criteria. The search results panel displays frames with vehicles that meet the specified search criteria.
