This section outlines a step-by-step instruction on how to install INTELLECT™ software onto a Client workstation.

Note.

The following features are to be taken into account while installing INTELLECT™ software:

  • INTELLECT™ software is to be installed on a “clean” Windows OS (see the Operating system requirements section).
  • To install INTELLECT™ software, administrator rights are required.
  • INTELLECT™ software is to be installed in the folder, which appears by default in the corresponding dialog box of the installation program (i.e., “C:\Program Files \ Intellect”). It is not recommended to change the names of the logical disk and folder for the installation.
  • Versions of INTELLECT™ software installed on the Client and Server/Administrator's workstation are to be the same. Otherwise, their operation is not guaranteed.

To install INTELLECT™ softwareas a Client, do the following:

If the Microsoft.Net Framework 4.0 or later has not been installed, then the warning is displayed. In this case stop installing INTELLECT™ and install the Microsoft.Net Framework 4.0 or later. You will find the instructions on how to install it at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/hh506443.aspx
