By default the object ID is displayed in square brackets next to the object name on the interactive map.
One can hide object IDs on each layer of the interactive map. For this set the Hide object ID checkbox checked in the Map menu of Map editor.
As a result object IDs are hidden on the layer that being edited on the interactive map.
Object ID can also be configured to display before object's name. For this set the Initial object ID checkbox checked in the Map menu of Map editor.
If no space is displayed between object name and object ID, or the "]" symbol is not displayed after ID, select Bring to conformity with core in the Map menu. This will bring the text field to a standard size in case is it was somehow reduced or enlarged earlier.
Note.
This will also delete icons of non-existing objects from the layer.
