To set the event viewer parameters, do the following:
- Go to the Main tab on the settings panel of the Event viewer object (1).
If it is necessary to display only one latest event or all latest events in Event Viewer interface box, select One latest or All events in the View events: list (2).
Note
If All events item is selected and the event is repeated for the object, there is time changing of present event recording and a new recording line is not created.Note
By default all events are displayed in the Event Viewer interface box.In the View days text field specify the time period (in days) over which the events are to be displayed in the Event Viewer interface window if there are more events than the number set in the Max.number of rows field (3). If there are less events than set in the Max.number of rows field, in the Event Viewer, events will be displayed for all days, regardless of this setting. And the events are excluded from being displayed until their number becomes equal to the Max.number of rows value. Verification of the fulfillment of this condition and exclusion of events from being displayed happens every 50 events.
- In the Max.number of rows field, enter the maximum number of events to be displayed in the Event Viewer (4). The default value is 10,000, the maximum possible value is 50,000. The value in this field should be increased if you notice that events of objects that rarely generate events are deleted from the log when switching the filters.
- Set the Show video checkbox to enable viewing the video recordings from the Event viewer interface box (5). Viewing the events of the Record to disk type of the Camera objects is only possible.
- Set the Show object on map checkbox to enable viewing the logged events on the map (6).
- Set the Show report checkbox to enable creating a printed report about events in the Events viewer interface box for a specified time period (7).
If the last 1000 logged events are to be displayed in the Event Viewer interface box, then set the Load protocol checkbox (8).
Note
When the Load protocol checkbox is set, the events of those objects that have been deleted without giving a source (the name of a deleted object is not displayed) can be displayed. Such operation of the Event Viewer allows the extra control over system objects.Note
A thousand of last events for each object or each object type is loaded when the Load protocol checkbox is set if the filter of Event log is configured for displaying events from several objects or several object types.
For example, if the Event log is receiving events from Camera 1 object and from all Macros objects, a thousand of events from Camera 1 object and a thousand of events from Macros objects will be loaded.Set the Hide Region checkbox checked if there is no need to show the Region column in the Event viewer (9).
Set the Hide Card checkbox checked if there is no need to show the Card column in the Event viewer (10). This column is in use for displaying the access card number for events coming from ACS integration modules included in ACFA Intellect subsystem. See Card number displaying in the Event viewer window for access events section in Access Manager Module Settings and Operation Guide.
Note
The card code is saved in the PROTOCOL table in the param1 field of the event associated with access (for instance, ACCESS_IN).
- Click the Apply button to save all the changes.
Event viewer parameters are now set.
