To remove Intellect from the Start menu, do the following:

  1. Go to Start Programs → IntellectUninstall.

The Select Action dialog box will open.
  2. Select the Remove action.
  3. If you want to save Intellect settings in the database, set the Save program settings and configuration files (recommended) checkbox.

    Note

If the sync.xml file was changed, then after removing with the configuration saved, the file will not be deleted, but the next time you install Intellect, it will be overwritten.
If you made changes to the ddi or dbi files installed with Intellect, using the ddi.exe utility, then these files will be deleted when removing Intellect with configuration saved. If you created new ddi or dbi files, they will be saved.

    Attention!

If the Save program settings and configuration files (recommended) checkbox is clear, a warning message will appear.

When removing Intellect without configuration saved, all ddi and dbi files, as well as the sync.xml file, will be deleted.

  4. Click the Next button.

    Note

Click the Cancel button to cancel Intellect removing.

The dialog window displaying the Intellect removing process will open.

After removing the files, a message will be displayed, informing that Intellect removal is complete.

  5. Click the Finish button.

Note

To completely remove Intellect, you should manually delete the Intellect installation directory and all Video folders created for storing audio and video recordings.

Note

Note, that the name of the Intellect installation directory may differ from the default name (C:\Program Files\Intellect).

Note

In some cases, you may need to restart Windows OS before removing the Intellect installation directory (for instance, folders/Intellect).

Note

We don't recommend removing the Intellect installation directory, if you plan to re-install Intellect. The directory contains:

  1. Folders with video recordings and video recordings frames exported during Intellect operation.
  2. Log files containing the information about Intellect module operations.
  3. Backup copies of these files.

Removing Intellect from the Start menu is complete.
