Managing the configuration of the BioSmart 4 and BioSmart 5M controllers

To manage the configuration of the BioSmart 4 and BioSmart 5M controllers, do the following:

1. Go to the settings panel of the BioSmart 4 or BioSmart 5M object that is created on the basis of the BioSmart object.
   
   
2. Click the Read configuration button to read the configuration of the controller.
   

   Note

   After reading the configuration, the Information block on the settings panel will be filled. It is for reference only and displays how many users are allowed to enter.

3. Click the Save configuration button to save the configuration changes to the controller.
4. Click the Read network configuration button to read the data of the system network operating mode from the controller.
5. Click the Save network configuration button to save the changes of the system network operating mode to the controller.
6. Click the Initialization button to delete all data on users, access cards, palm vein templates, and time schedules.
7. Click the Update access button to save access data (data on palm vein templates, access cards, user time schedules, and so on) to the controller.
   

   Note

   BioSmart 4 controllers support 255 time schedules, that is, the id of the time schedule must be in the range 1-255.

8. Click the Set time button to synchronize the time of the controller and the ACFA PSIM Server to which the controller is connected.
9. Click the Apply button to save the changes.

Managing the configuration of the BioSmart 4 and BioSmart 5M controllers is complete.
