Embedded ONVIF analytics are embedded detectors supported on the side of an IP device via the ONVIF protocol. The list of IP devices supported via the ONVIF protocol is provided in the documentation.

Attention!

  • In Axxon One, embedded detectors of an IP device always have the "Embedded" prefix.
  • The number of detectors that are supported via the ONVIF protocol depends on an IP device.

To configure an embedded detector, do the following:

  1. Configure a detector in the web interface of an IP device.

    Attention!

    • The settings of embedded detectors are described in the official documentation of an IP device.
    • In order to receive events from an embedded detector to Axxon One, you must configure the schedule in the web interface of an IP device and select days and time of operation of an embedded detector.

  2. Add an IP device to Axxon One (see Searching, adding, configuring and removing IP devices).
  3. Configure recording to an archive (see Configuring recording to an archive).
  4. Create the required embedded detector (see Configuring detectors and their sub-detectors).
  5. Configure macros to initiate (see Initiate alarm) and stop alarms (see Stop alarm).

Configuration of an embedded detector is complete. If necessary, you can change some settings of an embedded detector in the Axxon One interface.

Attention!

Settings of an embedded detector that are displayed in Axxon One depend on an IP device.

Events from an embedded detector are displayed in the events feed (see Checking events of a detector).

Rules is a special type of embedded detector based on advanced analytics and Profile M that is used for flexible configuration of each embedded detector (see Adding the ONVIF Profile M embedded detection tools). You can use it to configure, for example, multiple Embedded motion detectors with different detection areas and sensitivity on the same IP device.

Attention!

  • To display the embedded Rules detectors and their properties in Axxon One, the IP device must support the analytics service and its basic queries.
  • In DriversPack 3.8 and earlier versions, you can configure only certain properties of the embedded Rules detectors.
