If the camera meets the main requirements (see the General requirements for mounting and configuring of cameras section) and is aimed at the recommended directions, up to six lanes can be processed in case of a central camera location, and up to four lanes in case of a side location.

If recomendations for parameters, mounting and configuring video camera are fulfilled, the typical error of counting the following characteristics will be:

• 5% - while determining number of vehicles;
• 10% - while determining average speed of moving;
• 10% - while determining average distance;
• 10% - while classifying vehicles.

Conditions of applicability of the Traffic Detector module are following:

• visibility of vehicle or vehicle headlight (at night) - not less than 50m;
• speed of vehicle - more than 20 km/h;
• statistical sampling - not less than 1000 vehicles.
