Channels and BACnet parameters can be added to the map in six four ways.:

1. As an icon of state (1).
2. As an icon of state and indicator (2).
3. Textually (parameter value, 3).
4. As an a graphic indicator of state - line, polygon, ellipsis (4).
5. As an indicator polygon (5).
6. As an indicator ellipsis (, 5, 6). 
   
   

The indicator elements take the colour according to the rules (see Configuring the rules for BACnet parameters).
