VMDA detection are detection tools due to triggering of which some actions can be performed in the system.

VMDA detections trigger only in case of record Up to Intellect version 4.10.2, VMDA detection tools trigger only if recording to the archive is performed (permanent permanently or by alarm of base motion the Motion detection tool). Intellect since version 4.10.3, recording is not an obligatory condition for VMDA detection tool to trigger.

For instance, when the detection tool with corresponding settings triggers, the alarm on camera is generated and recording to the archive starts. Thus VMDA detection tools allow recording to the archive and, therefore, the recording of object trajectories, not steadily, but in the required situations.
