It is possible to create VMDA detection tools on the base of the Tracker object (see Creating and configuring VMDA detection). If VMDA detection tools are configured, the archive recordind can start on these detections triggering.  When recording is enabled,  the Tracker object records all motion paths of objects that it has detected,  regardless of whether the VMDA detection tools are created on its base or not.

The Tracker and VMDA Detection objects allow object classification. The following object types are supported:

  • human;
  • group of humans (with a possibility to count number of people in a group);
  • car;
  • noise;
  • object carried into the area;
  • object carried out of the area;
  • other.

Configuration and use of this classification method is carried out using scripts and registry keys (see also CAM_VMDA_DETECTOR section of the Programming Guide).
