In the In Intellect software it is possible to use modules specialized for working in 32-bits and 64-bits OS. Video.run and vmdadb.run modules, codecs, part of IP-cameras and video capture cards drivers are converted to the 64-bits platform.
Modules specialized for working on the 64-bits system allow removing restrictions on the number of connected and simultaneously displayed video channels in the in Intellect software. Using of 64-bits modules allows the system performance improvement up to 10 % comparing with 32-bits modules.
...
Some modules of Intellect and vertical solutions support operation in 64-bit bits mode only:
- Some detection tools from Detector Pack (at the moment of writing the documentation - smoke, fire, sweethearting and fluid level detection tools).
- IntelliVision module as a part of Auto Intellect.
- VisionLabs and Tevian modules as a part of Face Intellect.
By default, modules for 32-bit bits system are loaded in Intellect versions up to 4.10.2 inclusive. Starting with version 4.10.3, 64-bit bits modules are loaded by default, and if there is no corresponding bit module, then a 32-bit bits module is started.

If two detection tools of DetectorPack are created in the configuration and one supports 32-bit bits operation only while another supports only 64-bit bits operation, then detection module will start in 32-bit bits mode and 64-bit bits detection tool won't operate (similarly for other vertical solutions as the part of one module). |
Using of 64-bit bits system is recommended:
- if the large number of cameras are to be displayed simultaneously (over 100 cameras);
- if the large number of cameras are to be displayed in the ultrahigh resolution (over 50 cameras with 5Mpxls resolution in format without local unpacking);
- if the large number of channels of forensic detections with search are to be in use (over 25 Tracker objects on the Server when video resolution is higher than 800х600).

There is no 64-bit bits decoder for WS7 and WS17 cards with hardware compression. So video from these cards is not displayed on the remote client when 64-bit modules are in use. |
To use the 64-bit bits modules do the following:
...
As a result modules specialized for 64-bit bits OS will be loaded. If the 64-bit bits module is not found, the corresponding 32-bit bits module will be loaded.
Configuring of using 64-bit bits module is completed.
