When the filter is selected in the Event viewer, only the events that match the filter are displayed. If no filter is selected, then all events for all objects in the system are displayed. A dynamic filter in the top of a column can be applied to show only events from the objects satisfying the search condition. This filter is applied by Enter.

Events of different types are highlighted in different colors depending on the system settings.
