- Go to editing a user (see the Going to user editing section).
- Click the right mouse button in the access levels list.
- Select the Basic AL -> Do not inherit department AL in the opened functional menu.

It's impossible to delete inherited access level if a user haven't got own access levels. In this case it's required to assign own access level to a user and then disable inheritance of department access level – see the Assigning own access level to a user section. |
- If the user does not have any other access levels assigned except the inherited, the Search access level window opens.
- Search for required access level the Search access level window (see the Search for access level section) and select any number of access levels by double-clicking them (selected levels will be highlighted in bold):
- Click OK. As a result the inherited access level (levels) will be deleted from the list.
