Officially Carmen software module does not support virtual machines, although Carmen software module operates on VMware and VirtualBox as they can handle the USB properly.

Use general requirements for PCs in order to define the requirements for RAM, processor, etc. It should be taken into account that the performance of virtual systems is less than one of real systems, so the estimated number of cameras should be reduced accordingly. The following restrictions are imposed when Intellect software is working in virtual machines:

  1. Using of video capture devices is not supported.
  2. Working of Intellect interface objects, Report.exe utility and Converter.exe utility is not guaranteed in virtual machines.
  3. Demo mode operation of the VIT module (part of Auto-Intellect software) is not allowed.
