To upload an image to the reference face database, click the Add button and click the Upload image button in the opened windowselect one of the ways of uploading an image.

Images uploaded to the reference face database are to meet some requirements (see Requirements for images uploaded to the reference face database).

There are following ways to upload the images:

The data for the created person may be generated automatically: the values of the Last nameName, Patronymic and Department fields are taken from the name of the uploaded file. The following characters can be used as a separator: a period, a comma, a space symbol, a low line.

The format of the file name is to be in on of the following formats:

  • %last name%.%name%.%patronymic%.%department%.%any text, % will be ignored when adding a person.%file format%
  • %last name%,%name%,%patronymic%,%department%,%any text, % will be ignored when adding a person.%file format%
  • %last name% %name% %patronymic% %department% %any text, % will be ignored when adding a person.%file format%
  • %last name%_%name%_%patronymic%_%department%_%any text, % will be ignored when adding a person.%file format%

Supported file formats: JPG, JPEG, JPE, JFIF, PNG, GIF and BMP.

  1. From Load from file.
    In the opened dialog window specify the path and the name of file with that should be uploaded image and click the click Open button.

  2. From Load from video archive.
    Process The process of uploading an image from the video archive to the reference face database from video archive is the same as loading is similar to uploading an image from the video archive for search (see the Uploading image from video archive section).
  3. From Load from folder.
    In the opened dialog window select the folder with that contains the required images and click theOK button

    When adding images from a folder, it is possible to automatically move unprocessed images (face was not recognized, bad image quality, etc.) to a specific folder. For this specify the folder path in the config file.
