If two different streams are selected for continuous and alarm video recording (see Configuration of multistream video), then the Hot record mode can not be used, and the corresponding fields on the Camera object settings panel are disabled. The Hot record mode setting may also be disabled when the Camera object is created under the Video capture device object using H264, MPEG4 or H264 codec. |
By default, this mode is disabled. To enable the Hot record mode, do the following:
- Go to the Hardware tab in the System settings dialog box (1).
- Select the Camera object corresponding to the required camera in the objects tree (2). The settings panel for the selected object is displayed on the right of the Hardware tab.
- Go to the Basic settings tab on the settings panel of the Camera object (3).
- In the Recording frame rate field specify the frame rate of the video to be recorded (4).
- In the Hot record rate field specify the frame rate for the alarm hot recording (5).
In the Hot record time field specify the interval in sec during which the video is being recorded at the rate that has been set in the Hot record rate field, from the moment of alarm registration (6).
Info title Note. If there is an end of alarm event while recording in the hot record mode, then recording to the archive will be with the same rate as hot record until the end of specifyied interval. - Click the Apply button (7).
