For instance, audio digitization rate (Send rate) can be set like this. The value of the Digitization parameter set on the settings panel of the parent Audio card object is ignored. If the video signal comes with a delay, i.e. the audio goes ahead of the video, set the Audio delay parameter accordingly to eliminate the lag.
