- Close the Intellect software if it is open.
- Start the Tweaki.exe utility (see the Starting and shutting-down the Tweaki.exe utility)
- Select the Distributed configuraion in the tree on the left side of the utility dialog box (1see The Settings panel of the Distributed configuration section).
- Select the database containing the computer name to be changed (2) with with Select database or (1) or Use current DB buttons (2) buttons.
In result the the Available Slaves table (3) table will show all computer names registered in the selected database (4). - To select the computer name to be changed in the the Available Slaves table table, right-click an appropriate row. The row will be highlighted.
- Click the button next to the the New Slave ID (4) field to see the drop-down list of available computer names. Select the required computer name in the list. The selected name will appear in the the New Slave ID field (4) field. Name can also be entered in the field manually.
- Check one of the following checkboxes: Check the Protocol (5) checkbox to replace the computer name in the events log, or the the Clear Protocol checkbox checkbox to delete all records in the log. Only one of two checkboxes should be checked (5).
- Click the the Update DB button button ( 67). The progress of replacing computer names for a new one will be displayed in the field below the the Update button button (78).
To change the IP-address in the configuration database, do the following:
- Do steps 1-4 of the previous instructions (1).
- Select the IP-address to be replaced from the the From drop drop-down list (29).
- Enter a new IP-address into the the To field field, or leave the default LOCALHOST value (310).
- Click the Change the Edit button (411).
The IP-address in the the From field field and in the database will be changed.
