- Go to the DB tab on the State statistics object settings panel (1).
- Click the Connection dialog button (2). The SQL Server Login window will open.
In the Server list, specify the SQL server to connect to (1).
Info title Note If the Server list contains the required SQL server, then no further connection configuration is needed.
Info title Note When working in a distributed configuration, it is necessary to specify the computer name where the database is located, without using the value (local). For example, "WS1\SQLEXPRESS", where WS1 is the name of the computer where the database is located.
If it is necessary to enter the login and password for the SQL server authorization, unset the Use trusted connection checkbox (2). As a result, the User and Password fields will become editable.
Info title Note If the Use trusted connection check box is set, then the SQL server authorization will be performed using the Windows credentials.
- To specify the additional connection parameters, click the Parameters >> button (3).
- In the opened field, from the Database list (4), select the database where the events should be stored.
- From the Language list (5), select the language of the SQL server system messages.
- In the Application field (6), enter the application name (the default one is Intellect).
- In the Workstation field (7), enter the computer name (the default Noe is the computer identifier in Windows OS).
Click OK to save the settings.
