Certain rules should be observed while mounting the speed-trap over the lane, for example, the device should be mounted at a certain angle to the road surface (see the speed-trap documentation). This angle should be specified in the Radar module settings.

To set the mounting angle of the speed-trapTo configure the Radar device, do the following:

1. Open the Hardware tab in the System Settings window.
2. In the object tree on the left side of the Hardware tab, select the Speed-trap server object Go to the Speed-traps server object (2) representing the Radar module to be set up. The settings panel of the selected object will open on the right side of the window.
   

3. Enter the value of Radar device angle over the lane in the Installation angle,0 field (3In the Installation angle, * field (3), enter the inclination angle at which the Radar device is installed above the traffic lane (see the official documentation for the Radar device).

   Depending on the speed-trap the Radar device model, the system may ignore this option if it is not applicable to that particular speed-trap model (see the speed-trap documentation).

6. In the Detection threshold km/h field, enter the minimum vehicle speed determined by the Radar device. For vehicles moving slower than a given threshold, the speed will not be determined by the Radar device.
7. Click Apply (4).
