Registry Keys Reference Guide

Configuring the depth of the captured and recognized faces archive enables automatic archive cleanup when it reaches a certain size. The configuration procedure differs depending on the specified faces storing mode (see Faces and related data storage modes).

If the UseFaceDB key is equal to 2 or 1, then to configure the face archive depth, set the value of the FaceDBFreeMB parameter to the required archive size in megabytes (see Registry Keys Reference Guide, for more information about working with the registry, see Working with Windows OS registry).

Once the specified archive size is exceeded, the FaceDB folders cleanup will start. The oldest images are deleted by 1000.

  1. Go to the Face Recognition Server settings panel, which is located on the Hardware tab of the System Settings dialog window.
  2. In the Keep archive of recognized faces (days) field, enter the time period (in days) for which the recognized faces and vectors archive is to be saved (1).

    Info
    titleNote

The table stores information for current day and the number of days as specified in the field. For example, if the Keep archive of recognized faces (days) parameter is set to 1, information for two days (today and yesterday) is stored in the face archive.

The Keep archive of recognized faces (days) parameter also affects the captured face archive depth. Both archives are cleaned every day at 00:00.

  3. Click Apply to save the changes (2).
