User can inherit By default, the user inherits the department access level on default. If it's required not to inherit the department access level (levels), do the following:
- Go to editing a user (see the Going to user editing section).
- Click the right mouse button in Right-click the access levels list.
- Select the Basic AL -> Do not inherit department AL item in the opened functional menu. If the user does not have any other access levels assigned except the inherited, the Search access level window opens.Search for required access level will be opened. In that window, select one or several access levels (see Working with the Search access level window (see the Search for access level section) and select any number of access levels by double-clicking them (selected levels will be highlighted in bold)). As a result, the inherited access level will be removed from the list.
- To restore the inheritance of department access levels,
...
- Click the right mouse button in access levels list.
- Select the Basic AL -> select the Inherit department AL item in the opened functional menu. As a result the inherited access level (levels) will be added to the list.
Configuring of department access level inheritance is completed.
