  1. Specify the IP address of the Intellect server that acts as a SIP server.
  2. Check or specify the SIP-device identification number (the number used for calls).
  3. Set the password for the SIP-server connection.
  4. If the SIP-device does not support dialing from the keyboard and has only one button for calling the concierge, it is necessary to configure this button to call the Intellect operator (see Configuring SIP-operators on Intellect SIP-server).

...

  1. Create a SIP-device object based on the SIP-terminal object of the SIP-server type (1). The object settings panel will be displayed on the right side of the System Settings dialog box.

  2. From the Device type drop-down list (2), select the icon type used to display the device on the Map.

  3. From the Device priority drop-down list, select the priority of calls from this device when displayed on the SIP panel (3). If the field is left blank, the priority is considered minimal. The larger the number, the higher the priority, hence, the higher the call is displayed in the list. Calls from devices with the same priority are sorted by time depending on the New calls to end setting of the SIP panel interface object (see Configuring the SIP Panel interface object)
  4. In the User ID field (4), enter the SIP-device identification number, i.e. the number to call it.

  5. In the IP address field (5), enter the SIP-device IP address. If you are not going to send data to the SIP-device, this field is optional.

  6. In the Password field (6), enter the password specified on the SIP-device. The SIP-device with the specified identifier will be connected to Intellect only if the passwords on the device and in Intellect are identical.

  7. The State field displays the current status of the SIP device (7).
  8. Set the Video switch (8) to the position corresponding to the video camera used for calls:

    1. Off — the video is not used during the call.

    2. SIP camera — a SIP-device camera connected via the SIP protocol is used. If the wrong device is selected by default in the Camera (9) drop-down list, change the selection. The corresponding Camera object may not be created in the Intellect objects tree at this step; in this case, it will be created automatically after clicking the Apply button (12).

    3. Other — any other camera from the Intellect hardware tree is used. In this case, select the name of the required Camera object from the Camera drop-down list (9).

  9. Set the Audio switch (10) to the position corresponding to the microphone used for calls:

    1. Off — the audio is not used during the call.

    2. On — the microphone of the SIP-device is used as shown in the Microphone information field (11). The corresponding Microphone object may not be created in the Intellect objects tree at this step; in this case, it will be created automatically after clicking the Apply button (12).

  10. Click Apply (12).

  11. If necessary, the pre-configured missing Camera and Microphone objects (13) will be automatically created in the Intellect objects tree.
