1. Go to the External Plates DB object settings panel.
   
2. Select the value Partial match or , Wildcards match from the list  or With acceptable number of errors from the Search method drop-down list (1).

3. Enter the maximum plates number to be returned while searching via a wildcard or a number's part in the external DB in the In the Partial LP match and template search return no more than … license plate numbers field than field:

   • LPs (2) — enter the maximum number of license plates returned when searching by part of the number or number template in the external plates database.
