The PTZ control panel is displayed only if the  PTZ object for the particular video camera is enabled (see the section titled The PTZ Objectobject).

 

The PTZ control panel is used for the following functions:

  1. Controlling PTZ video cameras.
  2. Setting and switching to camera presets.
  3. Launching/stopping PTZ tours.
  4. Launching Launching/stopping patrolling.

The PTZ control panel includes the following interface elements:

  1. Presets list.

  2. PTZ tours list.

  3. Dialer

  4. PTZ controls for iris, focus, and optical zoom

  5. Virtual 3D joystick

    The type of virtual 3D joystick and adjustment scale depend on the type of PTZ cameras: discrete or continuous control of Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Focus, and Iris.
