1. Open the Access Manager window (see Starting and stopping the Access Manager module).
2. Go to editing the required user (see Going to user editing).
3. Enter the card number using the control reader (see Input of card number using a control reader).

After you click the Start reading button, the reader will make a short beep sound and go to the card waiting mode. The reader's LED will be blinking. When the card is presented, the code will be read automatically:

• If an EM-Marine card of the Wiegand 26 format is used, then the code will be automatically converted to the (xxx)zzzzz format, where xxx is 1 byte of the facility code, and zzzzz is 2 bytes of the card code.
• If a Mifare card is used, then the code will look like (H)zzzz..., where H means that the code has a HEX format, and zzzz.... is the card code in a HEX format.
