Patrolling is an automatic change in the position of a camera along a route defined in the camera's presets list. Patrolling is enabled through the Patrol button in the PTZ camera control panel.

You can use a cycle macro to set up patrolling (PTZ camera tour, see Switch Switching to a PTZ camera preset, Wait for timeout, Cyclical macros).

Patrolling must be activated in camera settings (see The PTZ object). In this case, the operator can stop patrolling by clicking the Patrolling button on the PTZ control panel. After the manual PTZ control session is over, patrolling will resume automatically.

If patrolling is switched off in camera settings, you can switch it on by clicking the Patrolling buttonTo stop patrolling, click the Patrol button again.

Manual control takes priority over automatic control. Any interference in the patrolling process cancels it.

To stop patrolling, click the Patrol button again.

Patrolling will automatically stop when a manual PTZ control session is over, or after you close the PTZ control panel.
