The People Counter uses pose detection metadata. If
A macro triggers when the maximum number of objects reaches or exceeds a preset threshold value, then a macro may be launched number of individuals in FoV matches pre-defined conditions (see Configuring filters for event-driven macros).

- Set common parameters (see Setting up common parameters for pose detection tools).
Set the visitor counter triggering condition:
Set the condition polarity, i.e. triggering when the number of visitors in the specified area is within the set range, or out of the range (1).
- Set the range of number of visitors in FoV (2, 4).
- Set an interval between two consecutive triggering of the visitor counter when the detection threshold value for minimum number of individuals in zone.
FoV continuously matches the condition(s) (3). - In the preview window, you can set detection zones with the help of anchor points much like privacy masks in Scene Analytics. By default, the entire FoV is a detection zone (see Setting General Zones for Scene Analytics).
