The network settings of the Intellect's SIP-client are similar to the network settings of the SIP-server, however, it is necessary to additionally specify the parameters of the SIP server connection (either the Intellect installed on another computer, or the Asterisk software).

The network settings of the Intellect SIP-client are set in the following order:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the SIP-terminal object.
  2. Set the Terminal type switch to the SIP client position (1— the SIP-terminal acts as a client, it can be connected to any SIP-server (based on the Intellect or Asterisk software). If this terminal type is selected, the Server connection settings become editable.
  3. In the Address field in the Server connection settings group (2), specify the IP address of the SIP server.
  4. In the Port field in the Server connection settings group (3), specify the port for the SIP server connection.
  5. In the Terminal settings group:
    1. From the Network drop-down list (4), select the IP address of the network adapter that will be used to connect to the network where the SIP-clients are located.
    2. In the SIP port field (5), specify the port number which will receive the data from the SIP-clients.
    3. From the SIP transport drop-down list (6), select the transport level protocol to be used: TCP or UDP.
    4. If necessary, specify the RTP ports range in the corresponding text fields (7).
  6. Click Apply (8).

The network settings of the Intellect SIP-client are set.
