To do this, select the target unit on the object panel and drag&drop it to the layout. The grid of cells will be displayed on the layout while you are moving the unit.

Changes All changes to the Dynamic Layout are saved till  you switch to another layout or restart preserved until you exit the Client.  After that, the layout will be blank againyou launch the Client, the Dynamic Layout is always empty.

However, you can copy back up your Dynamic Layout at any given time time (see Layout copying).
