It is recommended to upgrade from earlier versions through steps:  3.6.4. → 4.1.0 → 4.3.2 → 4.4.06.

To upgrade to version 4.4.06, you must:

  1. Run the new build installer.

  2. Install the build using an existing configuration. The procedure is the same as for a new installation (see Installation).

    Axxon Next 4.4.0 6 includes PostgreSQL version 10.8.0.

    Do not update PostgreSQL to version 10.8.0 when you update Axxon Next. Otherwise PostgreSQL .data is not available.

    When you update the software, keep DBs in the same folder. If you set a different location for DBs, the metadata and events from it will not be available.
