Aby skonfigurować obiekt SMS, wykonaj następujące kroki:

1. Wybierz obiekt typu SMS, który należy skonfigurować, z listy obiektów

To configure an SMS object, you must perform the following steps:

1. In the list of devices, highlight the SMS object which needs to be configured (1).
   
2. Activate the Aktywuj obiekt SMS object  (2) by selecting Yes in the Enable list.
3. In the Name field (3) enter the desired name of the SMS object.
4. In the To field (4), enter the cellular telephone number, in international format (+<country code>хххххххххx), to which messages will be sent.

8. W sekcji Ustawienia Portu Szeregowego (5) skonfiguruj ustawienia portu używanego w celu połączenia z modemem GSM, który będzie używany do wysyłania wiadomości SMS:
   
   1. Jeśli jest wymagany sygnał kontrolny DTR, zaznacz Tak przy opcji DTR.
   2. W polu Bity wyznacz ilość bitów w bajcie pakietu danych.
   3. W polu Długość bitu stopu wpisz ilość bitów w bicie stopu pakietu danych.
   4. Jeśli wymagana jest Kontrola parzystości transmitowanych danych, zaznacz pożądaną metodę kontroli parzystości danych z listy.
   5. W polu Port wpisz numer portu, przez który jest połączony modem GSM.
   6. Jeśli kontrola hardware danego szeregowego portu danych jest włączona i niezbędne jest korzystanie z sygnału RTS, zaznacz Tak dla opcji Sygnał RTS.
   7. Wybierz prędkość transmisji danych do modemu GSM z listy Szybkość transmisji.
   8. Jeśli niezbędna jest kontrola nad stosowanymi protokołem szeregowego portu danych, wybierz metodę z listy Kontrola wymiany danych: hardware 
   In the SerialPort settings group (5), indicate the port settings used to connect to the GSM modem by which SMS messages will be sent:
   
   1. If you need to use a DTR control signal, select Yes from the DTR list.
   2. In the Bits field, enter the number of bits in the byte of a data packet.
   3. In the Stop bits length field, enter the number of bits in the stop bit of a data packet.
   4. If you need to use a parity check when transmitting data, select the desired method of parity check from the Parity list.
   5. From the Port list, select the serial port used to connect to the GSM modem.
   6. If hardware control of the serial port data protocol is enabled (see step 5.8) and you need to use an RTS signal, select Yes from the RTS signal list.
   7. Select the speed for data transmission via the GSM modem from the Baud rate list.
   8. If you need to control the serial port data protocol, select the desired method of control from the Handshaking list: hardware (RTS/STS), software (XOn/XOff), or alternating.
9. Click the Apply button.
