The following physical controls are available on the device:

Joystick is a rotary control moving along three axes:

• Pan axis (panning: left or right deviation).
• Tilt axis (tilt: up or down deviation).
• Zoom axis (scaling: clockwise or counterclockwise deviation).

Acceleration along each of the three axes depends on the degree of deviation from the center. The movement is carried out until release. When released, the control returns to its original position.

Jog-Wheel (not integrated into the Axxon Next software package!) is a rotary control rotating only around its axis. When released, the control returns to its original position. In the illustration it is located at the bottom left (outer ring).

Shuttle is a rotary control rotating only around its axis. Allows the intermittent movement in one of two directions. It has no initial position; when released, it remains in place. In the illustration it is located at the bottom left (inner ring).

Button is a push control element that can represent two states. Allows the call of one of two functions (the function for pressing and the function for releasing). When released, it returns to its original position (“not pressed” state).

Of all the push-button controls of the remote control, the following blocks are integrated:

• a block of playback control keys (6 keys on the left: the record button is triggered after pressing a button on the joystick);
• block of keys for control of focus, zoom, aperture and PTZ presets (8 keys);

The following keys to manipulate the device interface are also available (not related to Axxon Next):

• Pressing the button on the remote control joystick (OK) (equivalent to pressing the ENTER key).
• Cancel the action / return one step back in the remote control menu (equivalent to pressing the ESC key).
• Numbers / letters are entered from the numeric keyboard, the mode (upper/lower register, digits) is switched by the SHIFT key.
• Moving through the menu items and within the fields is carried out by deviating the remote control vertically / horizontally.

Configuring a remote control before adding it to Axxon Next

Configure the network PTZ 4-dimensional Joystick Remote Control from Uniview (KB-1100) before you create the appropriate object in the Axxon Next VMS. Proceed as follows:

Prędkość obrotu na każdej z trzech osi zależy od stopnia odchylenia joysticka od pozycji domyślnej. Ruch jest wykonywany dopóki joystick nie wróci do pozycji domyślnej. 

Jog-Wheel (nie jest zintegrowany Axxon Next!) to rotacyjny element kontrolny, który można obracać wokół jednej osi; po jego zwolnieniu, wraca on do pozycji domyślnej. Na ilustracji jog-wheel jest widoczny dolnym lewym rogu (zewnętrzny okrąg).

Shuttle to rotacyjny element kontrolny poruszający się wokół własnej osi. Pozwala on na przerywany ruch w jednym lub dwóch kierunkach. Nie posiada on pozycji domyślnej; po jego zwolnieniu zostaje on w określonej pozycji. Na ilustracji jest on widoczny w lewym dolnym rogu (wewnętrzny okrąg)

Przycisk to wciskany element kontrolny reprezentujący jeden z dwóch stanów. Pozwala on na wyprowadzenie jednej z dwóch funkcji (funkcja wyprowadzana podczas wciskania, oraz podczas zwalniania przycisku). Gdy jest zwalniany, wraca do pierwotnej pozycji ("niewciśniętego" stanu).

Następujące bloki przycisków są zintegrowane:

• blok przycisków kontroli odtwarzania (6 klawiszy po lewej; przycisk nagrywania jest wyzwalany poprzez naciśnięcie przycisku na joysticku);
• blok przycisków kontroli ostrości, zoomu, przysłony, oraz presetów PTZ (8 klawiszy);

Następujące przyciski kontroli interfejsu urządzenia także są dostępne (nie są one powiązane z Axxon Next):

• Przycisk joysticka (OK) (równoznaczny z klawiszem ENTER).
• Anuluj akcję / przejdź jeden krok wstecz w menu kontroli zdalnej (równoznaczny z klawiszem ESC).
• Tryb wpisywania znaków (cyfry, małe litery, wielkie litery) jest regulowany poprzez klawisz SHIFT.
• Przechodzenie między elementami menu jest regulowane poprzez przekazywanie sygnału ruchu w pionie bądź w poziomie jednym z elementów kontrolnym.

Konfigurowanie kontroli zdalnej przed nawiązaniem połączenia z Axxon Next

Skonfigurować czteroosiowe urządzenie zdalnej kontroli PTZ Uniview KB-1100 należy przed utworzeniem odpowiedniego obiektu w Axxon Next VMS. Należy wykonać następujące kroki:

1. Włącz urządzenie kontrolne.
2. Wpisz nazwę użytkownika oraz hasło w celu zalogowania się do urządzenia. Domyślne dane logowania:
   
   1. login: admin
   2. hasło: 123456
3. Przejdź do konfiguracji sieciowej urządzenia. Aby to uczynić przejdź do menu Local Cfg -> Net Cfg, a następnie ustal wartości dla następujących parametrów:
   
   1. Adres IP
   2. Maska podsieci
   3. Brama domyślna

4. Dodaj Serwer Axxon Next do wewnętrznej konfiguracji urządzenia CCTV. Aby to uczynić, przejdź do menu

5. Switch on the control device.
6. Enter username and password in the device display. The default credentials are as follows:
   
   1. login: admin
   2. password: 123456
7. Configure the device network configuration. To do this, in the Local Cfg -> Net Cfg menu, set the following settings:
   
   1. IP address
   2. Mask
   3. Gateway

8. Add the Axxon Next Server to the internal configuration of this CCTV joystick keyboard. To do this, in the Dev Manage -> Manual Cfg -> Add Dev menu, set the following settings, a następnie określ następujące ustawienia:

   1. ID – enter any number (range– wpisz dowolną liczbę (zakres: 1-240, the number must not coincide with the ID of the remote control or other already added deviceID nie może kolidować z ID urządzenia kontroli zdalnej bądź z dowolnym innym dodanym urządzeniem).
   2. name – enter a string (1-8 characters)– wpisz 1 do 8 znaków.
   3. DType – select VM (VideoManagementSystem, i.e. – wybierz VMS (Video Management System, tzn. Axxon Next).
   4. LType – select NetWork (the device is integrated for connecting to Axxon Next via the network).

   5. After selecting LType, press the button on the joystick and enter the IP address of the Axxon Next VMS Server and the port used (the default port is 60000).

   6. wybierz NetWork (urządzenie jest integrowane do sieci dla celów połączenia z Axxon Next).

   7. Po wybraniu LType, naciśnij przycisk na joysticku, a następnie wpisz adres IP Serwer Axxon Next VMS, oraz wyznacz numer portu (domyślnie: 60000).

9. Połącz się z Axxon Next VMS, które zostało dodane w poprzednich kroku. Aby to uczynić, wpisz ID w menu FindDev -> Dev ID, a następnie wybierz znaleziony profil w menu Connect to the Axxon Next VMS, added in the step above. To do this, enter the ID specified above in the FindDev -> Dev ID menu or select the found profile in the Dev Manage -> Search Dev menu.

10. If the device is found, information about it will be displayed on the device display.
11. Jeśli urządzenie zostanie wykryte, na wyświetlaczu ukaże się odpowiednia informacja.
12. Naciśnij na pole ID; spowoduje to przejście do kontroli zdalnej dla Press on the ID field. This will onboard the remote control  in the Axxon Next VMS.

Configure the Skonfiguruj UNIVIEW KB-1100 PTZ joystick control as followsw następujący sposób:

1. Go to Przejdź do IP Device Discovery Wizard (see zobacz: Dodawanie oraz usuwanie urządzeń IP).
2. In the Vendor list select Z listy producentów wybierz Uniview-joystick (1).
   
3. In the IP Address field, enter the IP address of the remote control W polu Adres IP wpisz adres IP urządzenia (2).In the Port field, enter the port number, as set in step 4 of the remote control settings configuration
4. W polu Port wpisz numer portu zadeklarowany w konfiguracji urządzenia (3).
5. Click the Naciśnij .
6. Enable the newly created IP Server and its Channel child object.
7. Włącz nowo utworzony Serwer IP oraz jego element dziedziczący Kanał.
