For equipment The Equipment detection tool (PPE) operation , a camera must match imposes the following requirements:

  1. To apply detection in gateway mode (see Functions of the Equipment detection tool (PPE)), you should have no less than 3 FPS; in continuous mode, the minimal value increases up to 8 FPS.
  2. Pixel density must be at least 170 pixels per meter. The equipment element of interest is clearly visible.
  3. Approximate minimum pixel dimensions of equipment elements:
    1. Upper body: 75 x 100
    2. Legs: 75 x 105
    3. Head: 60 x 65
    4. Hands: 65 x 60
    5. Feet: 45 x 40
    6. Combined set 165 x 295
  4. Scene lighting must not alter color of equipment elements.
  5. the video stream from the camera:
    1. The resolution is at least 640x360 pixels. It is also not recommended to use a resolution higher than 1920×1080, since higher resolution does not increase the detection quality, but significantly increases the consumption of resources. The optimal resolution for solving typical tasks is 1280x720.
    2. The frame rate per second in the video stream from the camera is at least 3 for solving typical tasks.
    3. Color image only.
  6. To lighting:
    1. Lighting in the scene is at least 200 lux per square meter. In conditions of insufficient or excessive lighting (night or light-striking), stable operation of the video analytics is not guaranteed.
    2. There are no abrupt changes in lighting.
  7. To the scene and camera angle:
    1. Moving objects are visually separable from each other.
    2. The background is mostly static and does not change abruptly.
    3. There are no products made of rods in the detection area.
    4. Moving objects are minimally obscured by static objects in the scene (columns, trees, etc.).
    5. The analyzed scene does not have reflective surfaces and sharp shadows from moving objects. If present, they should be masked.
    6. Camera shake does not result in image offsets greater than 1% of the frame size
Average illumination in scenes with equipment detection must not drop below 200 lux
    1. .
