For equipment The Equipment detection tool (PPE) operation , a camera must match imposes the following requirements:
- To apply detection in gateway mode (see Functions of the Equipment detection tool (PPE)), you should have no less than 3 FPS; in continuous mode, the minimal value increases up to 8 FPS.
- Pixel density must be at least 170 pixels per meter. The equipment element of interest is clearly visible.
- Approximate minimum pixel dimensions of equipment elements:
- Upper body: 75 x 100
- Legs: 75 x 105
- Head: 60 x 65
- Hands: 65 x 60
- Feet: 45 x 40
- Combined set 165 x 295
- Scene lighting must not alter color of equipment elements.
- the video stream from the camera:
- The resolution is at least 640x360 pixels. It is also not recommended to use a resolution higher than 1920×1080, since higher resolution does not increase the detection quality, but significantly increases the consumption of resources. The optimal resolution for solving typical tasks is 1280x720.
- The frame rate per second in the video stream from the camera is at least 3 for solving typical tasks.
- Color image only.
- To lighting:
- Lighting in the scene is at least 200 lux per square meter. In conditions of insufficient or excessive lighting (night or light-striking), stable operation of the video analytics is not guaranteed.
- There are no abrupt changes in lighting.
- To the scene and camera angle:
- Moving objects are visually separable from each other.
- The background is mostly static and does not change abruptly.
- There are no products made of rods in the detection area.
- Moving objects are minimally obscured by static objects in the scene (columns, trees, etc.).
- The analyzed scene does not have reflective surfaces and sharp shadows from moving objects. If present, they should be masked.
- Camera shake does not result in image offsets greater than 1% of the frame size
