Axxon One  uses uses the Event Source object to get external events. To create the object, make sure that:

1. Run IP Device Discovery Wizard (see Adding and removing IP devices).
2. In the form for manually adding an IP device, select  select Event source in the Device type drop-down list.
   
3. Click the  button button.

The Event Source object is added to the system.
