To configure a POS device, do as follows:

1. Select the Event Sourcesource object.

2. Select a connection type of the POS device (1).
   
3. Specify the Server connection port (2).
4. To connect via RS-232, select a port, connection speed and parity check (3).
5. Select the type of your POS device (4).

6. Select Yes in the DOS to WIN Conversion field if the data from the POS device is DOS-encoded (5).

7. If the data is UTF-8 encoded, select Yes in the Initial UTF-8 formatFormat to enable correct display of captions (6).

8. If a Retalix terminal is used, select Yes in the corresponding field (7).

9. Set the maximum size of UDP datagrams in bytes (8). Oversized packets will be ignored. 

10. Click the Apply button.
