ANPR works properly if the following camera specs, installation, and configuration requirements are met:

  • Character character height at least 10p, preferably 20p or more.;
  • Minimum minimum resolution 1280*720, recommended 1920*1080.;
  • Minimum minimum frame rate for Slow mode 5 fps mode, for Fast mode 20 fps.;
  • Maximum maximum horizontal angle: 30°.;
  • Maximum maximum vertical angle: 45°.;
  • Expected expected image contrast: the contrast difference between characters of the number plate and the background should be at least 20 units with an image brightness scale of 0 to 255.
