The Events Filterfilter component allows selecting the type of events that are displayed on the archive navigation panel.

1. Click the Events filter button (1). The Events filter window will then be displayed (2).
   
2. Select the check boxes checkboxes for the types of alarms which should be displayed on the archive navigation panel, according to their status:
   
   1. Confirmed alarm.
   2. Suspicious situation.
   3. False alarm.

   4. Unclassified alarm.

      If you clear the check box checkbox for a certain type of alarm, this type of alarm and the corresponding track are no longer displayed on the timeline.

      
      

3. Select the check boxes checkboxes for the types of alarms which should be displayed on the archive navigation panel, according to the cause of their initiation:
   
   1. Initiated by operator.
   2. Initiated by video detection tool (basic, situation analysis, or embedded).
   3. Initiated by audio detection tool (basic, situation analysis, or embedded).

   4. Initiated by input.

   To display alarms on the timeline, select at least one type of alarm event and one initiator.

   
   

4. Select the check box checkbox to display operator comments.
5. Click the Apply button.

Events of the selected type are now displayed on the timeline   (see the section titled The Timeline) and in the events list (see the section titled Events List).
