To remove the Intellect Axxon PSIM software from the Start menu do the following:

  1.  In the command prompt select the following: Start -> Programs -> IntellectAxxon PSIM and then Uninstall in the drop down list, as shown in the figure.

    As a result the Select Action dialog box is displayed.
  2. Set the switch to Remove.

  3. If Intellect Axxon PSIM settings are to be saved in the database, set the Save program settings and configuration files (recommended) checkbox.

    If the “sync.xml” file was changed, then after removing with saving of the configuration it will not be deleted, but the next time you install Intellect Axxon PSIM it will be overwritten.
    If you made changes to ddi or dbi files installed along with Intellect Axxon PSIM software, then these files will be deleted when removing Intellect Axxon PSIM even with Save program settings and configuration files (recommended) checkbox set. If the user has created new ddi or dbi files, they will be saved regardless of the checkbox.


  4. Click the Next button.

    After removing the files, message, informing about the removing of Intellect Axxon PSIM software will be displayed.

  5. Click the Finish button.

For complete deletion of Intellect Axxon PSIM software files delete the installation catalog and all the created Video folders for storing the audio and video recordings manually.

Please take into consideration, that the name of the Intellect Axxon PSIM software installation folder may differ from the default name (C:\IntellectAxxon PSIM).

In certain cases, Windows OS should be restarted before the Intellect Axxon PSIM software installation folder is deleted (for instance, Folders/IntellectAxxon PSIM).

We do not recommend deleting the Intellect Axxon PSIM software installation folder, if you need to re-install Intellect Axxon PSIM software. The folder contains:

  1. folders with video records and frames of video records exported during Intellect Axxon PSIM software operation;
  2. log files containing the information about Intellect Axxon PSIM software module operations;
  3. backup copies of these  files.
