The Active Directory synchronization should be started both after connecting the Intellect Axxon PSIM users and user permissions with the corresponding Active Directory objects, and in case the Active Directory users and security groups are changed: deleted, disabled, moved to another group etc.

The following methods of Active Directory synchronization are available:

  1. Using the Users section of Intellect Axxon PSIM software.
  2. Using scripts and macros.
  3. Using the ADSyncOnStart registry key (see Registry keys reference guide).

To start the Active Directory synchronization in IntellectAxxon PSIM, click the Synchronize with AD button in the Users section. The updated structure of the Intellect Axxon PSIM users and user permissions will be displayed in the opened window. Select the objects to be synchronized, and click OK.
