If necessary, you can clear the table with events from the INTELLECTAxxon PSIM database. For example, if the database has become very large.

To remove the events table from the IntellectAxxon PSIM database, do the following:

1. Shut down IntellectAxxon PSIM on the server where the database to be cleared is stored.
2. Launch the SQL Server Management Studio utility and connect to the server. For details, seeViewing Axxon PSIM™ software PSIM database.
3. Go to the folder with tables Databases/intellectAxxon PSIM/Tables.
4. Delete the PROTOCOL table.
5. Quit SQL Server Management Studio.
6. Run the idb.exe utility (Start -> Programs -> Intellect Axxon PSIM -> Update database).
7. Click the Update database button in the utility and wait for the message about the completion of the update (see Interface elements of the idb.exe window).
8. Close the idb.exe utility with the OK button.
