To export a snapshot/frame, click the Image Removed Image Added button while viewing video. A JPG file will be exported to a folder specified in the Server settings.

  1. Switch to Archive mode (see Viewing video archives through the Web-Client).
  2. On the timeline, set the timeline indicator to the location that matches the beginning of the export interval. Click the Image Removed Image Added button. Set the indicator to the location that matches the end of the export interval. Click the Image Removed button Image Added button.

  3. Click the Image Removed Image Added button.

  4. Select the video format (1). You can export videos to avi, mkv, mp4 and exe formats.

  5. If you are exporting a video in .avi format, select the compression level (2). 

    4 – minimum compression, maximum file size; 

    6 – maximum compression, minimum file size.

  6. If necessary, add comments for the export (3). The comments will be shown as captions when the exported video is played.
  7. Click the Export button (4).

The progress bar is displayed on the drop-down panel as in the Client (see Viewing export progress).

When the export is complete, the panel color changes to green.

Image Modified

To download an exported file, click its name on the panel.
